Sara DeGrave, LPC, CSAC

Sara DeGrave relies upon a complete person-centered approach to treatment that focuses on all aspects of well-being — mind, body and spirit. She will work with you to help you reach your goals and feel better. 

Sara DeGrave provides thoughtful and effective counseling services to individuals, couples, and families. She has experience working with a diverse range of people of all ages, from children to senior citizens. 


When working with individuals, Sara relies upon a focused approach to help you navigate the many aspects of personal growth, health, and well-being. She also helps parents, couples, and families build stronger relationships and learn to communicate better with one another. Sara also offers expertise to help you overcome alcohol or drug addiction issues. She spent several years as a clinical substance abuse counselor, gaining valuable experience and knowledge. Sara has also worked with individuals and families impacted by a lifestyle changing medical diagnosis, including learning to cope with grief and bereavement.

She works with you to develop personalized treatment goals using proven techniques, such as Motivational Enhancement, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. Her complete person-centered approach to treatment focuses on all aspects of well-being — mind, body, and spirit.

Sara enjoys speaking at conferences and wellness retreats to provide guidance and information on topics related to nurturing an improved sense of self and well-being and the many benefits of doing so.
